The SecurityAssist app is a convenience feature that utilizes Bluetooth technology to communicate with a case to which the SecurityAssist device is attached. The app allows the user to monitor activity (within a reasonable distance) in and around the case, including movement, case location, whether the case has been opened or contents removed, as well as interior temperature and humidity. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
